GASB followed the call by the Convention on Biological Diversity and submitted a joint statement together with the Joint Working Group on Synthetic Biology (GFGSB) on the current trends in synthetic biology for the online forum on synthetic biology established by the convention. From 20th-31st March 2023, we will participate in this forum with three representatives to discuss the future of synthetic biology in international cooperation under the CBD.
