This high-level gathering will spotlight <strong>40 cutting-edge companies<\/strong> selected by a panel of <strong>42 active investors<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>These investors, who together have made <strong>more than<\/strong> <strong>3,500 past investments worth over \u20ac169 billion<\/strong>, represent a powerful mix of <strong>64% investment funds and 36% corporates<\/strong>. Among the most active are <strong>High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds, Novo Nordisk, Mercia Asset Management, Rabobank, Mitsui &amp; Co, Sofinnova Partners, Bayer, Demeter Partners, Bmp Ventures, Emerald Technology Ventures, and eCAPITAL<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The event will feature <strong>100+ One2One meetings<\/strong>, enabling direct exchanges between founders and financiers. Six dedicated technology tracks will highlight the diversity of the sector:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Bio-based chemicals, products &amp; materials<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Biomanufacturing &amp; biorefining, including AI and digital tools<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Waste valorisation &amp; circular technologies<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Wood-based products and materials<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Agriculture, food &amp; feed innovations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Sustainable packaging<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Beyond matchmaking, expert panels and showcases will provide insight into Europe\u2019s thriving bioeconomy and Wuppertal\u2019s role as a hub for sustainable industrial transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/events.techtour.com\/event\/bio25\/Overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Applications for startups remain open until <strong>31 August 2025<\/strong><\/a>, with selected companies announced in early October.
