The Group “Structural Biochemistry” (head Leo Scheller) at the LIT is recruiting a
Postdoctoral scientist (m/f/d) – LS-2025-02
in a full-time position (40.1 hours per week), starting in May. Later start dates can be arranged if necessary. This position is initially limited to two years, with the possibility of extension
The newly established Structural Biochemistry group at the LIT combines synthetic biology and computational protein design to develop next-generation T cell therapies.
We focus on creating task-specific protein components, which are subsequently tested in relevant model systems. This includes plasmid design and cloning, as well as potential screening in cell lines or yeast and validation in primary cells. Our goal will be to eventually develop candidates for clinical testing.
Since our group is just starting out, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to setting up a positive lab culture.
